LUANDA-- Angolan Foreign Minister Manuel Augusto has started a tour of four countries -- Mauritius, Madagascar, Algeria and Brazil -- where he will prepare the official visits of President JoAPound o Lourenco on dates to be announced later.

The foreign miister, who did not speak to the media before his departure, left here Tuesday for Port-Louis to deliver a letter from the Angolan president to his Mauritius counterpart, in his capacity as chair of of the Organ for Political, Defence and Security Co-operation of he Southern African Development Community (SADC).

From mauritius, Manuel Augusto will travel to Antananarivo, Madagascar, where he will deliver a message from the president to his Malagasy counterpart, Hery Rajaonarimampianina, before departing Saturday for Algeria.

The tour ends with a two-day working visit to Brazil. During his recent work visit to Angola, Brazilian Foreign Minister Aloysio Nunes had indicated May 3 as a possible date for President Lourenco's visit to Brazil.
