The Scientific Research Honor Society, SIGMA XI, has admitted Cameroonian Neurosurgeon, Dr. Ignatius Esene into the prestigious organisation.
SIGMA XI said in a statement that his admission was due to his outstanding scholarly achievements and contribution to advancing knowledge in his domain.
SIGMA XI has previously inducted members like Albert Einstein, Linus Pauling, and Sally Ride, including over 200 laureates. By being a member of the organisation that was created in 1886, Dr. Esene Igbatius has now become a distinguished person who has enormously contributed to research in his domain.
Being a member bow means he has automatically subscribed to SIGMA XI’s award-winning magazine, American Scientist, exclusive member rates for the society’s annual conference, and access to programs and initiatives that recognise innovation, support interdisciplinary research, and advance careers for STEM students, among others.
Dr.Esene is a Cameroonian Neurosurgeon teaching at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. He
has always been grateful to the state of Cameroon for being part of the Lecturers who are giving back to their home countries.
