The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, Demeke Mekonnen, has today conferred with Chinese delegation led by Wang Yi, Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China.
The discussion focused on bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual concern, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the occasion, China and Ethiopia have expressed their readiness to work in partnership on bilateral, regional and international issues of common interest.
Chinese delegation led by Wang Yi arrived in Addis Ababa for a working visit this morning.
During its stay, the delegation is expected to discuss about how to further strengthen the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership between Ethiopia and China with senior Ethiopian officials.
