High Commissioner Encourages Bam High School Graduates as They Embark on Patriotic Immersion

Bam: The High Commissioner invites high school graduates leaving for the Patriotic Immersion to honor the reputation of the province through their conduct.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of Bam Province, Karim Ou©draogo, visited high school graduates on Monday morning as they prepared to leave for the 2025 session of the compulsory Patriotic Immersion. The purpose of his visit was to offer encouragement and wish the graduates success in their upcoming endeavors.

Gathered at the provincial directorate of secondary education, vocational and technical training in Bam, the graduates are set to be transported to Loulbila in the Oubri region for their immersion. This initiative, established by authorities in May, is intended to serve as a civic and patriotic training program, providing participants with a deeper understanding of their country and their role in its development.

During their stay, the graduates will engage in activities designed to instill values such as solidarity, order, and discipline. High Commissioner Ou©draogo emphasized the importance of these experiences in building a new model of Burkinabe citizens who are honest and committed. He urged the students to uphold the reputation of Bam by demonstrating discipline, humility, and teamwork.

The High Commissioner also commended Midon Coulibaly, the provincial director in charge of secondary education, for his efforts in organizing this session. Approximately 500 graduates from Bam have embarked on this month-long training, which began in Kongoussi. Their return is anticipated on September 10.
