The Conservatoire National de Musique Francois Mitterrand will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, with the aim of enabling the two institutions to work together to enhance the educational, cultural, and academic links between them.
Both institutions will, among others, exchange teachers or researchers to give lectures or do research, convene a series of exchange concerts on promoting Sino-Mauritius cultural exchange and work on an Undergraduate Collaboration Project
The Conservatoire National de Musique Francois-Mitterrand is a parastatal body under the aegis of the Ministry of Arts and Culture. It runs music courses, including courses of music technology at all levels. The objectives of the Conservatoire are to promote music and the Mauritian musical heritage.
