Mayor Adanech Abebie and Muslim World League Secretary-General Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa laid the foundation for a 19-story Awelia Aid and Development Organization building today.
The mayor said on the occasion that the support given to Awelia, which is well known for assisting generations in Ethiopia, is a manifestation of cooperation and support.
During the ceremony, Ethiopian Muslim Affairs Supreme Council President Sheikh Ibrahim Tufa and other invited guests were present.
