Dedougou: Meeting in an elective assembly on Monday, August 25, 2025 in Dedougou, representatives of the six provinces of Boucle du Mouhoun unanimously reappointed Ludovic Ouaro as head of the Regional Union of Etalons Supporters, with the mission of strengthening fan mobilization and promoting sports disciplines. The conference room of the Boucle du Mouhoun regional sports and leisure department hosted the elective assembly of the regional office of Etalons supporters on Monday, August 25, 2025.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the assembly was chaired by the regional director of sports and leisure, Oumarou Zongo, and enhanced by the presence of two observers from the Burkinabe National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSB). The meeting was marked by a fraternal atmosphere and the mobilization of representatives from the six provinces of the region.
At the end of the proceedings, the participants unanimously renewed their confidence in Mr. Ouaro, the outgoing president, by re-electing him as head of the Regional Union of Supporters of the Boucle du Mouhoun Stallions. This plebiscite recognizes the commitment of a man who, for several years, has worked to unite supporters and promote sporting disciplines throughout the region.
The president of the Regional Union of Stallions Supporters expressed his deep gratitude to all the delegates, while calling for increased mobilization around sporting ideals. “This election is not just a team renewal, but a pact of unity and determination. Together, let’s make the Boucle du Mouhoun supporters a true family, capable of supporting all disciplines and flying the flag for Burkina Faso,” said Ludovic Ouaro.
He also welcomed the presence of delegations from all provinces, stressing that their commitment and confidence constitute the real driving force behind this collective dynamic. With this rejuvenated and determined team, the Regional Union of Supporters of the Stallions of the Boucle du Mouhoun aims to strengthen the mobilization of supporters, to promote all sporting disciplines and to make sport a lever of unity, joy, and hope for regional and national youth.
The authorities and participants extended their congratulations to the elected officials and their wishes for every success in the accomplishment of this noble mission.
