Ouagadougou: Sanguie province is gearing up for a significant rally in support of the President of Faso, organized by the national coordination of citizen monitoring associations (CNAVC). The rally is scheduled to take place this Saturday, August 30, at 9 a.m. at Place de la Nation in Reo, led by the High Commissioner of the province, Talari Germaine Ouoba. The event is under the patronage of the President of the National Commission of the Confederation of Sahel States, Bassolma Bazie, and guided by the Minister of Justice, Human Rights and Relations with Institutions, Keeper of the Seals, Me Rodrigue Edasso Bayala.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the day’s program includes activities aimed at gathering support for the Head of State, featuring sessions on popular shareholding and road safety. Furthermore, a significant part of the event will focus on supporting the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), with a planned donation ceremony to boost their efforts.
The rally seeks to mobilize Sanguie province’s influential groups to demonstrate strong backing for the President’s policies. Organizers aim to make this event a pivotal moment on the political calendar, showcasing the population’s unity and commitment to presidential initiatives.
The organizers have extended an invitation to the residents of Reo and nearby areas, urging them to attend in large numbers. This gathering is envisioned as a show of strength and unity for the Progressive People’s Revolution.
