Addis ababa: Africa requires collaborative efforts in terms of economy and infrastructure connectivity to ensure sustainable development on the continent, emphasized Ethiopia’s Labor and Skills Minister, Muferihat Kamil.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the 3rd Africa Job Creation Forum, held in Addis Ababa, concluded today after three days of discussions focusing on collaboration, innovation, and sustainable economic opportunities for Africa’s growing youth population. The forum aimed to strengthen ties among the youth and entrepreneurs of the continent.

In her closing remarks, Minister Muferihat highlighted Ethiopia’s ongoing efforts to enhance the economic participation of its youth and entrepreneurs. She pointed out the country’s achievements in promoting youth entrepreneurship and expanding job opportunities. Key accomplishments include the expansion of alternative employment opportunities, the introduction of improved technologies across various sectors, and the increasing involvement of youth in economic activities.

The Minister emphasized that the forum served as a vital platform for young people and entrepreneurs across Africa to exchange experiences, build networks, and collaboratively address common challenges. Participants have agreed to continue working together on shared priorities and to outline future directions for joint action.
