Ouagadougou: The General Directorate of the Burkina Information Agency (AIB) organized a comprehensive training session from August 27 to 29, 2025, aimed at enhancing the administrative writing skills of its executives. The session was held in Ouagadougou and focused on improving the management and production of administrative documents.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the training encompassed five modules that covered fundamental aspects such as the general principles of public administration, the rules of administrative writing, various types of letters and their structures, ascending and descending information documents, and practical advice for drafting administrative acts. AIB Director General Seraphine Some/Millogo emphasized that the training was in response to the need for increased professionalization in preparing administrative documents. She commended the quality of the modules and the depth of discussions, expressing confidence that the initiative successfully met its objectives.
The training was conducted by experts Kouliga Birba, a human resources management advisor, and Abdoul Kader Yougbare, a school and university administration advisor. They provided participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical cases, along with tools tailored to the realities of Burkinabe public service. This approach aimed at improving the quality of administrative documents produced by AIB.
Besides enhancing document quality, the session also facilitated fruitful exchanges between agency executives and trainers, contributing to a deeper understanding of issues related to administrative communication. Such initiatives by AIB General Management are designed to equip staff with the skills necessary to tackle the challenges of modernizing administration and strengthening internal governance.
