K©n©dougou: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of N’dorola, Fatoumata Ou©draogo, representing the High Commissioner of the province of K©n©dougou, formally installed Dr. Djakalia Soulama as the Chief Medical Officer of the N’dorola health district. The event took place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, attended by administrative and customary authorities, health workers, and various partners of the local health system.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Dr. Djakalia Soulama, a general practitioner, was appointed by decree n°2025-364/MS/CAB on June 19, 2025. He succeeds Dr. Arnaud Antime Ki, who served as the Chief Medical Officer for over six years. The official handover of duties was conducted by Fatoumata Ou©draogo on August 20, 2025, in N’dorola.
Dr. Soulama expressed his gratitude to the supervisory authorities for their confidence in him. He committed to continuing the work of his predecessor and emphasized the importance of collaboration with health personnel, local authorities, and the community to address the challenges facing the health system.
Dr. Arnaud Antime Ki, the outgoing Chief Medical Officer, thanked his colleagues and expressed satisfaction with the progress made during his tenure. He acknowledged the imperfections inherent in any human endeavor and apologized to anyone he may have inadvertently offended during his service.
Fatoumata Ou©draogo, along with Issa Konat©, the Regional Director of Health of Guiriko, praised both doctors for their contributions. They commended the seamless transition, which ensures continuity in the management of the local health system, and wished both individuals success in their new roles.
