Solenzo: The citizen watch of the village of Ban, located approximately twenty kilometers from Solenzo, inaugurated a new roundabout named ‘Captain Ibrahim Traore’ on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in the presence of several people. The event attracted a large turnout from the village population, who gathered to commemorate the new infrastructure.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of the special delegation (PDS) of Solenzo, Marou Ilboudo, attended the ceremony, accompanied by a delegation from Solenzo. The roundabout, positioned centrally in the village at the intersection of the Bankouma, Baye, and B¨na roads, was constructed by the village’s citizen watch at a cost of 350,000 FCFA, as reported by Abdoul Wahab Sore, the movement’s spokesperson.
The ceremony included several speeches and concluded with the ribbon-cutting and the installation of the roundabout mast. Following the inauguration, the PDS and its delegation visited the construction site of the hospital wards, which are also being built by the citizen watch of Ban.
